The First Punic War: Salambo

The first Punic War was sprawling, strange and largely erased the Romans erased Carthage. The boarding platform supposedly changed the entire course of war when it was tried out in its first use by the notoriously uncea worthy Romans. They didn't salt the fields, that's apparently a legend, but they might as well have because they destroyed the memory of it completely.
