i think we have seen, you know, there's been a lot of reporting on the fact that the biden administration had a series of very, very intense meetings with their chinese counterparts. I'm trying to figure out potential ways this could unfold where there's some sort of descalation. And i struggle to think of even one scenario where that would work. If indeed hooton is thinking more along the lines of hitler, like, i have endless territorial expansion goals, then he's unappeasable by definition and there's almost nothing you can do.
