The Scotus Docket: A Case in Which a Christian Baker Refused to Serve Gay Couples
A baker in Colorado refused to make a cake for a gay wedding because she didn't want to engage in it. She challenged the state law, which says you have to serve all weddings. The court ruled against her on first amendment grounds and public accommodation reasons. Heaton: "You can't compel somebody to participate in somebody else's sacrament"
