The horse family the elephants the dolphins the camels especially the south american camelids they form permanent stable groups multi-generational stable groups that don't on the whole lose individuals particularly easily usually because it's quite difficult to go and join another group so the only way they can become smaller is by breaking up into two which is what they do. once the offspring adults they they effectively become anonymous members of of the herd and go their own way.
