The way to do battle is the same whether it is a battle between one individual and another. You should observe reflectively with overall awareness of the large picture as well as precise attention to small details. Unless you really understand others, you can hardly attain your own self understanding. If you do not pursue a genuine path to its consummation, then a little bit of crookedness in the mind will later turn into a major warp. That's great advice. And I think that's very useful because we should see ourselves in other people. We should look at other people and say, I know what they're doing. I do that too.
