The History of Youth Ministry
Youth ministry took off in the 70s now not to say there weren't youth groups before that but it took off by then we were starting to hire people 80s for sure before that. No parent church organizations sprung up in the 20s 30s and 40s they were just youth gatherings and they were very successful why wam. I look around I know lots of churches that at one time had a flourishing youth group or college group and they're just have a fraction of the numbers now.
