The Rise of Airline Capacity in June 23

The report shows a significant improvement in yields which as most of our users know is the price customers pay per mile. Airline capacity on a global basis is only 5% below 2019 levels. Demand for summer travel this year continues to be booming and sets the airlines for good footing into this year. Low cost carriers or ultra low cost carriers fare better as there is generally more price sensitivity among consumers.
