How to Unify Quantum Mechanics in Relativity

Cura-marletto and Vlattka-Vedraal from the University of Oxford in the UK have come up with an interesting idea for a future experiment. They want to test whether two masses, such as tiny crystals, could become entangled according to the rules of quantum mechanics by having gravity acting on them. This would suggest that gravity could truly have quantum effects,. again helping to marry the two theories of quantum mechanics and general relativity. But at this point, I think the conceptual work needs to be done before we will even know which experiments to perform. The best way forward is to just strip time out of quantum, out of general relativity, and put the two together in
