Mitochondrial Inheritance

Sperm and egg have separate mitochondria from dad and mom, right? And the sperms do not deliver their mitochondria into the egg. But you look at our mitachondria, it's all ma'am, just allMa'am. So mitochondrial inheritance is not sexual reproduction, exactly,. You know, bec it some reason we we keep out one of the parents from that process. What that means is that your mitochondria are extremely similar to your mother's and your grandmothers.
