Simple Is a Difficult Thing
I think a great example of that is probably Jacob's piano solo in in my room. It's it's so melodic, but it's not like a thousand notes in one phrase. And he's really like taking his time and, you know, highlighting this part of this chord. But I think as musicians, we need to understand our own intention of each phrase that we give. Once we have that, then we can begin to find out what we need technically in order to do that in that way. Sometimes simple is just difficult. We want to have things that are complicated and full to bursting. But sometimes simple is really good.
