I think when they shelved that show and they thought maybe during season three, we could set it up so that he could be a primary character protagonist in that series if we ever revisited that show again. So to me, it almost feels like season three ended off in a way that that show would now make sense to do because just the way it ended,. But at the same time, I don't think they'd ever go back.
