The Italians Will Be Competing Against the Left
I want to propose an idea of Italy that is pro-European, pro-vaccine and pro-science. That's not in denial on climate change or pushing our young people to leave the country. You've got a Centre Left Democratic Party run by Enrico Letter who has the air of a kind of university professor. He lacks that kind of charisma that Maloney and Bela Scony and Salvini have in spades. They could have allied with the Democratic Party but they said there were too many far left members tucked inside the Democratic Party. Gosh, that must be quite frustrating for the left if it's internal divisions that's stopping them from grasping power.
