Gerard's Conversion of Desire
When gerard was 35 years old, he sort of likens his experience to dante. He was a dark wood of his lifewith his own entangled desires. Instead of being lost in the beauty of an object and the beauty of some goal its, i'm always looking sideways to see if my neighbor wants it as well. And so that's the disfunctionality of it. So he sees that this dynamics is uncovered in the bibleand and gerard really came to understand this through a very powerful personal conversion experience.
