The Wendigo Story

For the sandy lake people and many of the other native american tribes, the wendigo stories were more than hearsay. It was an idea that was rooted in ancient tradition. Ceremonies were built around the legend. People were warned and educated constantly about the dangers this creature posed to the community. And then suddenly all of tha tradition and history ran headlong into the modern world, and the results were disastrous.
