The Seven Day Week

Most ancient calendars were based on direct observation. We really have no choice but to live by days and nights. The length of the week is not something that you can say naturally flows from anything that is physically true about the world. There might be historical cultural religious reasons that feed into it. It's a somewhat arbitrary length. It's based on culture and it's a human invention.
