The Most Essential Scales for Learning Improvisation
i don't believe that scales are actually the primary source of learning improvisation. I would much rather spend time working on music theory, at least when it comes to jaz. The more you learn about them and just pick up these concepts randomly, the less useful they can be for improvising. So i advise em mostly against not getting distracted by it.
