Tech Is Not Smart, It's Just Not Cooperative
i think that tech has done a few things over a 20 year period that has made it vulnerable. And unfortunately, the way the public looks at this now is you almost have an unregulated industry making decisions unolaterally. I would say that with great power comes great responsibility. As these companies have gotten so big, so vast, so powerful, it is incumbent on us to scrutinize them. That is what i believe the media is doing. We'll see if that changes. It just seems like the regulars are more r happier to admire the problem rather than regulate.
