Introduction
Payments company Opeo had a massive outage yesterday afternoon. It meant that card payments were declined in Ireland. The company has around 50,000 customers in Ireland. They're saying that not every outlet was impacted but at around 11 o'clock last night, they posted on their website to say that the system has been fixed and the system is back up and running.
