Are the Dinosaurs Better Adapted to the Climate as It Was Cooling?
Some scientists argue that at the end of the cretaceous, the dinosaurs have been declining already for forty million years. Most evolutionary biologists disagree and argue that dinosaurs are very, very adaptable. There are still twice as many species of birds as there are mammals to day. And then those survived the asteroid, right? Like something about that asteroid killed those big dinosaurs. It could be. But if it happened more slowly than those bigger dinosaurs could have potentially survived, though they would be changed.
