The weager forced labor prevention act went into force in june. It's focused specifically on force labor in china, and particularly in shinjon province. Uflpa assumes that if the item is coming from chinjon province at c b p, the customs and border patrol has identified it as having been made with forced labor. The law assumes that that is true, and puts the burden on the importer to prove that it's not true.
