The Role of Cyber in the Information Environment
I think the whole domain idea is just a neat and tidy way to try to have mandates. I actually don't think that those domains really exist in the old world. Just look at Marines. What are they then? They're cross domain. Why not information space? Because the information environment transcends all of those domains. It applies across all of them. So it's not separate in any kind of way. And so yes, it spans geographies. Now with wireless satellite, it does span across the water and can be virtually everywhere.
