Is Supersymmetry Dad?
Super Symmetry is an entirely superfluous idea. It does not actually solve any problem. The only reason that a lot of particular physicists like it is that, as i keep saying, it's a pretty m they were hoping it would solve certain problems. I disagree with the assertion that not finding it at lep killed the theory. There was no prediction, solid prediction, that it should be detected atla, similarly with the tabatron. We should look at other theories besides super symmetry. Of course, we shouldn't just stick with one theory - if you're looking under the lamp post, but that's not where the keys are.
