The Importance of Integrating Work and Life at Home

The easiest place to live with less technology and live a more whole life is in the middle of a city where everything's walkable, bikeable. If you can find a lot of run-down fixer-uppers, which there are in St. Louis, they're actually giving away houses. So paradoxically, it's the city I think that is the most promising place to go low tech.
