Are There Other Things We Can Learn From This?
I think there is potential for harm. And they certainly, in the early days of implanting the argus to retinal implant, there were some our detached retinas and other problems. It's a very different industry and an ecosystem. Some people are saying, well, these companies should have to open the technology. They should have to have interoperbility standards. But it's not like a hobbyist can just go build and spare parts for their retinal implant and convince someone to implant them surgically. This is a really different arena, and it's just so young and new that i think a lot of regulations and standards simply don't exist yet.
