The Effects of Steroid Injections on Neck Pain
There are some really interesting signals coming from the research literature relating to steroid injections for people with these painful but mobile shoulders. There seems to be a small but true benefit in the very very short term it's gone by three months but there's a short-term pain relieving effect. People who received their injections early in their course of treatment then go on to access higher levels of health care so they utilize greater health care than people who are treated through physiotherapy. In relation to tennis elbow worse clinical outcomes and higher rates of recurrence.
