The Benefits of Cash Flow Underwriting
When you're looking at the way that open banking, at least in the US works right now, you're not getting 10 years of cash flow history. The occupation they're in is a great example of something that has longevity to the predictive power of the thing. But even using that data has its own flaws because of something called Reg B. And as a result, I think innovation has stalled in the underwriting space in the US.
