The Basic Signs of Epiphany
Epiphanes are a really interesting rhetorical device for authority, because when the god appears, they often come with a message or a demand. And this is true across ancient cultures. It's still a way of marking to the audience, pay attention, something that you thought was impossible is about to become impossible. I 'm going to tell you this by having some lightning flash across the stage. That's absolutely fascinating. But all i just say, that's fascinating every time.
