The Role of Protein Opates in Alzheimer's Disease

Stanley Prusner was the recipient of the 1997 Noel Prize for discovering prions and we had a fascinating conversation with him back then on October 14th 2019. We don't have great biomarkers for Parkinson's disease in the background of this paper as I was reading it you talk a little bit about how other protein opates like Alzheimer's are further ahead than Parkinson's in terms of having biomarkers. Right and so before we move on I also want to just briefly mention for our audience that to learn more about the story of prions and what we've been talking about thus far I encourage you to check out the interview we did with Stanley Prusner back in October of 2019.
