More than 426 bills that have been described as anti-LGBTQ laws have been introduced in state legislatures across the U.S. In early 2021, Arkansas became the first state to ban gender affirming care for minors. The most high profile new state added to the list is Florida. At this time, we're now talking about at least 16 states with restrictions or bans on gender affirming Care for minors and more than 20 states that have some kind of a sports ban.
