Paul Graham: People want to solve big problems, but there's a skew towards the types of things that are appealing. He says we've been so lucky that we don't see the richness of the difficulty of the problems. The best programming languages should be designed simultaneously with a large application written in C or Unix. And if you're not experiencing this type of experience yourself, then maybe it's time to try something different.
