Technical Writer - Is That Really Technical Writing?
It took me a while to actually want to call myself a technical writer because the field is very broad. There's also sometimes a little bit of a negative association with technical writers, an idea that while the word technical is in the name, you're not really a developer or a software engineer. So with all of that in mind, I do think that technical writer is a meaningful title in the software engineering world and what I focus on is a holistic approach to developer experience.
