Google's Pixel 7A: A Mess
It doesn't make sense to launch this phone when they do and then immediately discount it for Black Friday because everything else is on sale for Black Friday. Raising the Pixel 7A to $500 does give Google two sort of advantages in the sense that it's just a higher average sale price for Google's hardware division. So people that are willing to buy it at the beginning of the cycle, full price, Google gets $50 more per sale, obviously. Then they have more room to maneuver around discounts.
