The treatment of Native Americans in the United States is still deeply troubling. I'm confused about your argument about the present versus the past. In a way, it's definitely progress from the exhibits that you talk about in the 50s. There was without doubt, no golden age. But there is something else that has gone on. The real problem I have with virtue signaling isn't the, the performative part of it, it's the performatives part of it to the exclusion of real change.
