Minerva Weave: A Roman Version
Minerva weaves the image of herself, with her helmet and her shield and all her glory. The scene she weaves shows her own victory in the naming and claiming of the city of Athens. One corner shows mountains that were once people who tried to take the name of gods. Then a woman who Juno, Hera, turned into a crane for challenging her. And finally a man who had bragged that his daughters were so beautiful that Juno turned them into marble steps to her own temple.
