How COVID Helped a Bind

Even the smallest of wins we would celebrate as a staff. You found that helped a bind and that's a civil autonomy. We set ourselves a target of 0% students in the bottom two bands, within three years we hit 0%. The kids could pick the levelled readers but from level nine beyond so that there was a bit of a storyline or nonfiction books and the parents actually read those to the kids. That trust I guess, they trusted what I was doing for their kids. Yeah, that's awesome because I guess that can be part of the problem as well. Is it the community buying? What else did you kind of do to get them on board? Again during COVID
