The Evolution of Linguistics, Isn't It?
I think science in nearly every field has kind of become calcified in the 20th century, right? So in linguistics, you know, Chomsky is the pioneer of this. Most scientific disciplines I really think at this point are solving theory internal problems that don't even make sense when you try to explain them to your grandma at Thanksgiving. You have to understand that like human reason is not fit to understand the world in a very simple sense.
