The Bronze Age Collapse
This is the weakness of collapse as an analytical tool to my mind. Those were such narrative creatures, consciously and unconsciously we have to see the collapse as the end. This makes it an apocalyptic occurrence rather than simply something that may have been very bad for a great many folks. Whatever had happened, whatever mental and physical scars those who remained would bear,. however the landscape had changed, life went on.
