How Do You Get Past the Beginner Level?

Seow once, once we joined the team a, it was three members. We basically had practice contests once every couple of weeks. And then we ended up, all three teams, like the a team, the b team and the c team, ended up going to to the regionals. But we didn't end up doing that well, because we were competing with people that had been studying their whole university careers at this just practising competitive coating.
