How to Transform a Voice Into a Synth

Live Spits Out: How do you transform a voice, for example, into a synth? How do you turn a guitar into a synthesizer? It's not that tricky, but it can be a little bit unrewarding if you use the wrong methods. I'm going to start with a sound of a guitar. So this is the first thing I came up with just a little phrase on the guitar. Now, I've added a bit spring reverb to that sound, just for display purposes. But when it came time to analyze the pitch, there was no reverb because that will blur things and create a bit of confusion as to what note the machine is trying to get.
