But when Gensler can't tell you whether Ethereum is a commodity or a security or a collectible, multiple people are getting sued. He says the only people you're punishing are the people who are trying to operate in good faith at that point. "I am almost certain it will drive innovation outside the US if we don't come up with regulation in the short term," he adds.
