The Confusion of Fantasy and Reality in Children

Children easily confuse fantasy with reality is that something that really happens or not so much I would say not so much. A few children aged three four five will invent an imaginary companion and they want this imaginary companion to be given a seat at the dinner table. There's no indication that they've decided this this um this uh person is a real person but there have been occasional rather charming interventions by the child being interviewed about their imaginary friend.
