VAWB was about to get bought by Yahoo when a big investor backed out. The company had to borrow a conference room from Yahoo and say, look, dude, we're calling you from Yahoo where they're like about to buy us in one week. That was the level of shit we had to deal with. We never believed that an acquisition was gonna close. This was like the 15th M&A deal. I think I once counted and we had like 15 different acquirers claimed to wanna buy us. To this day, I don't know what my net worth is because the guy in charge of my finances, I tell him don't count the companies that aren't public.
