Anti-natalism is the view that it's better not to have been born. It trades on two different kinds of argument, and can't totally make up its mind. The first is this idea that even if you bring a being into the world that has a life of almost pure joy, but suffers just a little bit, then that's bad. That's still not an ethical thing,. But it's not good to bring a being. Life offers more suffering than happiness for everybody pretty much.
