I would prefer to see people have a list o like two to three thousand. Nobody likes doing the work of list building. Launching a product is so much sexier. I think you can still have a successfult product launch, provided the price is not too low. But prepared to get on calls tit. Don't just rely on inviting people to one webenar and sending them a bunch of promo emales. You need to really squeeze that small list for all it's worth.
