William darrow was an epidemeologist with the centres for disease control and prevention. He'd been working on a study of hepotitis b in the gay community. In 19 81, the young men showing these new symptoms were starting to die ut was quite frightening,. At the time, we didn't have any way of diagnosing it, and there were no therapies. The researchers set out to interview people suffering from the new cindrome to find out where it might be coming from.
