The $10 Billion Housing Fund

Budget continues to provide $7 billion in tax concessions for property investors every single year. Max Chandler: Imagine if you, instead of giving that $7 billion, the property investors, you actually just invested that in building social and affordable housing. It's a much more effective and equitable way of providing housing than giving these massive tax discounts to people. The vote on the housing bill has now been pushed back to when Parliament sits back in June,. That seems to be the way that things have sort of laid out.
