Open Source and Heartbleed - What's the Problem?
Heartbleed did result in some resources being allocated. At least I remember people giving lip service to it. You have a small group of people that aren't getting paid that are giants, that are carrying a giant portion of the industry from a software perspective. Same type of issue could be sitting just waiting to be discovered and could be the next Log4J that gets all of our attention.
