Salma: My mom decided to take the journey before I did. She said, if I make it, you'll follow as soon as you can. If I don't make it, then you stay in Egypt and find a way to get your siblings in Abu Dhabi. Her trip was actually very terrifying and hard on her because her health isn't the best. By the time that she arrived in Italy, she had bruises all over her body. We were just sleeping, sitting up because there is no space for you to walk or do anything at all at some point."
