The indications for RSI and why we might be doing it are slightly variable. But as a rough guide, it's pretty reasonable to think about A to F. We're thinking about airway protection, either immediate or threatened airway. B, we're thinking about respiratory failure. C is one that you've got to be very careful and very considered with if you're thinking about that as your indication for RSI. D, this is a big one for neuroprotection. And then finally, we've got E and F: It's kind of everything else or kind of humanitarian causes.
