There are still significant moving pieces in terms of like what hash functions we're going to use to build these Merkel trees. I do worry that if these choices are still in flux, it takes a while to build them and things can shift under your feet as you're building them. That is my personal sort of high level take on the space at the moment. Did you dive into hash functions in the book? No. So there is discussion in various places of snark friendly hash functions. And I mean, but basically just saying, hey, like, there's a black box. It exists."
